Omaha’s New Obstacle Course Gym for Kids and Teens is Inspired by American Ninja Warrior

FitNest, an indoor obstacle course facility in Omaha, has been giving area children and teens the opportunity to test their abilities on obstacles popularized by the TV series and competition American Ninja Warrior.

FitNest opened in Omaha last fall and offers ninja warrior classes, open gym and private group sessions, summer camps and birthday parties.  The gym offers versions of the TV show’s obstacles including three Warped Walls in various sizes, Quintuple Steps, Salmon Ladder, Rock Wall, Spider Wall and many more.

“We offer a big variety of fun and challenging activities for kids of all abilities,” said Jeff Cauble, Owner of FitNest. “They are constantly improving upon their grip strength, balance, speed and agility in a creative and unique way which provides skills that benefit them for all types of sports.”

There is no age minimum, however the facility is geared towards older children (approximately 7 or 8 years old and up) and teens, but also caters to adults for family and group outings. “Our name is FitNest which symbolizes a family mentality. We encourage parents to participate with their kids and we also want to invite businesses in for fun team building exercises. The course can be adapted for different age groups and skill levels which opens up many possibilities.” said Cauble.

Six week ninja warrior classes and open sessions are offered throughout the year for children and teens to improve upon their skills. “FitNest is a place that promotes positivity and sportsmanship while encouraging kids to be active and lead healthy lifestyles. Everyone can go at their own pace and the opportunity for growth is endless.”

Cauble has been a personal trainer for over 20 years, is the President of the West Omaha Track Club and a USA Track & Field certified coach. Cauble and his two sons are big fans of American Ninja Warrior, which along with his experience and background, inspired him to open FitNest.

FitNest is located one block south of 109th & Harrison Street in LaVista. For more information about classes, open sessions, group outings, birthday parties or week long summer camps please visit
